Regular people [need to know that] train services are potentially threatened because very safe train operators, who have never had a wreck, are facing the reality that their insurance is going to go up - just because the law says it has to. And the insurance market doesn't want to do it."

The younger generations are drinking less. They're socializing less. Everybody can afford a 75 inch TV in the dorm room now, they don't need to go out and go to a social hangout to watch the football game, and things are getting more expensive.

Insurance is the climate crisis canary in the coal mine, and the canary is dying. Severe-weather events are more common and extreme because we're not doing enough, fast enough, to transition from fossil fuels and other greenhouse gas-emitting industries.
