La Colombe Cold Brew concentrate is the best store-bought option for flavor and versatility.
La Colombe Coffee emerged in 1994 in Philadelphia and has since taken the coffee world by storm. What was once a lone cafe has blossomed into a brand that is easily recognizable, cementing its reputation for serving up quality coffee that emphasizes sustainability and ethical business. In addition to draft lattes, La Colombe's collection of single-origin coffee beans has hit market shelves. Naturally, we sent a team member to try them all.
Why single origin? Blends certainly have their place, as do flavored cups (I did love the fall lineup from Bones Coffee Co.), but brewing beans grown in a single location really lets you get a fuller sense of their character. You'll find lots of wild tasting notes in single-origin coffees because the beans aren't diluted with those from another terrain.
The lawsuit alleges that after the acquisition, Chobani altered an existing cold brew product to mimic an existing Stok cold brew product by using a similar golden yellow color and the descriptors "light roast" and "Bright & Mellow."
