The American dream was not for any of them, merely an aspiration for Americans. It was an aspiration by Americans for the entire world, rather than the belief that a government deriving its legitimacy from the government and treasuring the inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness resonate powerfully around the world.

What we have witnessed recently are extreme overreaches and deliberate violations of our constitution by the federal government.

It's a national day held annually on May 1 since President Dwight Eisenhower established it in 1958. Each year, the day has a theme, and this year it's "The Constitution's Promise: Out of Many, One."

Since Trump took office, his Administration has failed to comply with court orders related to a range of issues, publicly railed against judges whose decisions he disagreed with and targeted corporate law firms with executive orders.
