The cabin's serene location amidst the pine forest and near the beach has greatly enhanced my creative process during this digital detox, allowing for focused solitude.

Our five-day itinerary on Mount Desert Island was intended to recapture that magic, with visits to nearly every corner of Acadia.

Part of the reason I built my place out in Minnesota, deep in the woods, is it's removed from everything. The closest store is 40 miles away. Once we get there, it's really about everybody taking care of each other.
