Colleges can now directly pay athletes, marking a significant change in college sports compensation.

It's a strange new world for the CHL; they tried their damnedest not to lose kids to the AHL and the AHL did their best to accommodate for them, but then the NCAA made it's wacky world of transfer portals, NIL, and semi-expanding list of power teams available to the CHL players.
