By HILLEL ITALIE, Associated Press NEW YORK Chuck Negron, a founding member of the soul-rock sensations Three Dog Night who sang lead on such hits as One and Just an Old Fashioned Love Song and hollered the immortal opening line Jeremiah was a bullfrog! on the chart-topping Joy to the World, died Monday. He was 83. He died of complications from heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at his home in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles, according to publicist Zach Farnum.

At the end of 2024, Dan was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer. The news of his diagnosis hit all of us hard, but Dan never lost his enthusiasm or his spirit. Some of us have worked with Dan for nearly a decade, and all of us have come to know him not just as a coworker, but as a great friend.

"It is with overwhelming sadness and heavy hearts we share the news that our beloved Francis passed away yesterday after a private battle with cancer," the family statement said. "He departed this world peacefully, surrounded by love," the statement said. "Our hearts are shattered. Throughout his fight with cancer, we stayed by his side, facing every challenge as a family - exactly the way he taught us," his family said.

The former Leeds and Wales midfielder Terry Yorath has died at the age of 75 following a short illness, his family have said in a statement. Born in Cardiff, Yorath played a big part in the Leeds team under Don Revie, winning the First Division title, before spells with Coventry, Tottenham and Bradford. He also won 59 caps for Wales. Speaking on behalf of the family, his children said: To most he was a revered footballing hero, but to us he was Dad; a quiet, kind and gentle man.

During his eight years in north London, the striker scored 174 goals in 367 outings to help the club win the League Cup twice, as well as the Uefa Cup. Margaret was born April 19, 1928, in Odin, Illinois, the eldest of two children, to Elester "Leck" Harville and Martha (VanSant) Harville. She attended Odin School 1st grade through high school, where she graduated twice! She graduated from 11th grade, then the school district added 12th grade so she went one more year and graduated again. Margaret went on to Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where she met her future husband, Wayne, whom she married March 27, 1949.

Tatiana Schlossberg, a granddaughter of President John F. Kennedy and a prominent climate activist and environmental journalist, died on December 30 at age 35, her family announced through a social media post.

Aaron Anderson, from Consett, sustained life-threatening injuries when a John Deere Gator overturned at a farm near Burnopfield, County Durham, on December 21. Durham Police confirmed the incident, and in a tribute released through the force, Aaron's family described him as a "cheeky chappie who was always smiling and would never fail to brighten up your day". He had been receiving treatment at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.

Don moved to San Francisco in 1942 with his parents and younger brother Richard (Dick). Peter Greene, a character actor best known for his role as the iconic villain Zed in "Pulp Fiction," has died. He was 60. He died in his home in New York City, his manager, Gregg Edwards confirmed on Friday. His cause of death was not immediately released. "He was just a terrific guy," said Edwards. "Arguably one of the greatest character actors on the planet; Has worked with everybody."
