Instagram is developing a feature that will allow users to remove themselves from someone's "Close Friends" list, Meta told TechCrunch on Friday. The company says the feature is still in the early stages and is not being tested publicly yet. The social network's Close Friends feature lets users share Stories, Reels, and posts with a select group of people, rather than their entire follower base.
Gemini is a feature that's designed to feel more tailored to individual users. Once enabled, "Personal Intelligence" can pull context from across your Google ecosystem, including Gmail, Google Photos, Search and YouTube History, to gain specific insight that will shape its answers and recommendations. Personal Intelligence is available starting today in the US for Google AI Pro and subscribers. The feature is opt-in only and is off by default.
To start making changes to what's visible, click one of the Update buttons on the right. The Profile and Avatar options lead to options such as your display name and picture on Reddit, the social links you have displayed on your profile, and how you want Reddit to notify you about activity on the platform. Switch to the Privacy tab on the settings screen and you get some control over how visible your profile is.
