Newcastle United's transfer ambitions continue to expand beyond Europe, with the Magpies now reportedly entering the race to sign Vasco da Gama's rising sensation, Rayan. According to Brazilian outlet NT Vascainos, the Premier League club, backed by the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), are keeping a close eye on the 19-year-old attacker, who has become one of Brazil's most exciting young prospects.
- Arsenal, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona are among the clubs tracking Mexico's latest rising star, Gilberto Mora, according to TEAMtalk. The 16-year-old attacking midfielder has impressed for Tijuana in Liga MX -- having scored three goals and added one assist in eight appearances this season. Mora became the third-youngest player in Liga MX history last season after making his debut aged just 15 years and 10 months, and he continues to impress potential suitors with his flair, vision and composure.
The player has a 40 million release clause in his contract, but he could be allowed to leave for a fee of around 30 million, as per Jorge Nicola. Tottenham certainly have the financial muscle to pay up, and it will be interesting to see if they come forward with an offer to get the deal done. They could use more quality and depth in the attacking unit.
