Spurs evened the series with a 133-95 win over the Timberwolves, led by rookie Dylan Harper’s all-around impact on offense and defense.
The Spurs extended their winning streak to nine games Monday night with a dominant victory over Detroit, marking their fifth win this season against a team that entered the day with the NBA's best record. That's the most such wins by any team since the 1992-93 New York Knicks and the most in Spurs franchise history.
Free agent center Mason Plumlee is signing a 10-day contract with the San Antonio Spurs, his representative Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports told ESPN's Shams Charania on Tuesday. Plumlee, in his 13th NBA season, was traded by the Hornets to the Thunder in a three-team deal ahead of the trade deadline and he was subsequently waived by Oklahoma City. Plumlee appeared in just 14 games for the Hornets, starting two, and averaged just under nine minutes per game.
"Ultimately it was kind of between here and Boston," Kornet said. "I feel like after a lot of conversations with my wife and just feeling like, honestly, a lot of prayer and realization of where we are in life."
