Flip side: always order the roast lamb in a Greek restaurant. And sometimes a menu has an item that seems out of place, but it stays on the menu. This is the chef's hangover dish, and it's awesome.
Run by two locals who come from 14 generations of Montauk pro-fishermen, this seafood shop knows its way around shellfish. The lobster roll is worth seeking out: plump with lobster salad that's flecked with celery for crunch. It comes on a soft potato bun, with kettle chips you can crumble on top for more texture. And the summer special of $38 for two lobster rolls plus chips is one of the best deals around. You can also get oysters and clams on the half shell
