'Someone yelled out that they saw a bear, so we started looking at it, and that's when we realized it was something else. It wasn't a bear. It was standing up there on the hillside,' he said.

On close examination of the footage, there are actually two creatures breaking the surface...the second was longer and higher, out of the water by at least four feet.

"It's a rare occurrence to see a sperm whale that close," said Damien.
