A suspect has been charged with murdering an elderly man in south west London. Detectives have been unable to identify his next of kin. The Metropolitan Police said Hill, of Chelsham Road, Clapham, appeared at Bromley Magistrates' Court on Friday accused of murder. He was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday. Detective Chief Superintendent Emma Bond, who leads policing in Lambeth said: Detectives from the Met continue to investigate Robert's sad death earlier this year.
