I have always been advised by my parents to be mindful of what I post online as it may offend others, affect my reputation or baseball career. However, after much thought and guidance, I write this post today to express my disappointment with the athletic director and principal at Norco High's decision to fire coach Gary Parcell after 35+ years of dedication and commitment.

The changes to OSAP, first announced in February, will go into effect for the next school year. The focus of Monday's discussions will be the university's endowment fund, worth about 4.2bn. The fund was set up to ensure the organisation's long-term financial security and is managed by the University of Cambridge Investment Management Limited (UCIM), a private company owned by the university. The company operates as a fund of funds a complex financial structure that means its money is spread across a wide range of sectors and overseen by an investment manager.

More than 1,100 students, graduates and student organizations have signed the petition calling on Georgetown Law and the George Washington University Law School, which is jointly hosting the event, to remove ICE and DHS from the Public Sector Recruiting Program (PSRP), a virtual career fair for students interested in working in the public sector. The petition also asks the universities not to invite ICE and DHS to any future career fairs or school events.

Commodore Sloat officials say they received handwritten letters from students asking the school to reduce plastic waste -- and school leaders listened. When he first learned that federal agents had detained Columbia University student Mahmoud Khalil in the lobby of his university housing complex, Jameel Jaffer knew he was in for a fight. Jaffer is the director of a Columbia-affiliated institute devoted to the defense of the first amendment, and Khalil, a green card holder, had been a fixture at the pro-Palestinian encampments on campus. Months earlier, Jaffer's organization had hosted a symposium about the free speech rights of noncitizens.

Concerned about the amount of waste and use of nonrenewable items in school cafeterias, some Bay Area students and school districts have initiated changes toward more sustainable practices. In response to students' requests to be more eco-friendly, the Campbell Union School District has increased recycling efforts and is taking steps to reduce plastic waste. US President Donald Trump and NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte announced the United States will sell US-made arms to Ukraine, marking a shift from Trump's previous stance against transferring weapons.
