Just days after The Cure announced a new run of 2026 tour dates, the band has confirmed some new music to go along with it, quietly updating their website with a note that the band has recorded "13 more songs" for a new album. In proper The Cure fashion, the news came not in a blast of press releases, but with a modest update to the "bio" section of their website.
These concerts will take place in Dublin, Belfast, Manchester, and Edinburgh, spread between late June and the end of August. Openers include a rotating cast of slowdive, Mogwai, The Twilight Sad, Just Mustard, Stella and the Dreaming, and The Slow Readers Club. Register for The Cure's mailing list before 10:00 p.m. local time tonight, September 30th, to get access to the artist pre-sale launching on Wednesday, October 1st at 9:00 a.m. local time.
