The Natural History Museum became the UK's most popular tourist attraction in 2025, with over 7.1 million visitors.
Situated on Great Russell Street in Bloomsbury, the museum welcomes more than six million visitors each year and houses over eight million items, making it the UK's most visited museum. Popular restaurant chain, The Ivy, which has branches in Kensington, Clapham, Covent Garden and Liverpool Street, was named the most requested destination for restaurants. Meanwhile, Harrods, in Knightsbridge, topped the shopping category.
The UK tourism sector is currently facing a challenge not of over-tourism but of slower growth, despite a projected surge in visitor numbers this year.
