Nvidia teams up with a Goldman-backed startup to tackle a major pain point in AI adoption
"AI infrastructure is super expensive,"
"That's not really the best way to put such an expensive hardware into use,"
"We live in a really interesting time now where, for the first time and perhaps ever, we have - because of AI - everythin"
Nvidia and Spectro Cloud partnered to launch PaletteAI, a platform that helps companies manage AI infrastructure and reduce wasted computing power. Spectro Cloud, valued near $750 million and backed by Goldman Sachs Alternatives, said many companies use only about 30% of GPU capacity. PaletteAI can raise GPU utilization to around 60%, improving cost and energy efficiency while accelerating AI development. The platform integrates with Nvidia's AI Enterprise software suite, aims to simplify secure AI adoption and management, and will debut at Nvidia's GTC conference to address complex infrastructure optimization challenges.
