Vaughan home shot at for 3rd time in months, police say | CBC News
"A home in Vaughan has been shot at for the third time in two months, York Regional Police say. Officers say they responded to a shooting at a residence on Allison Ann Way, near Bathurst Street and Major MacKenzie Drive W., around 5 a.m. Monday. No one was injured, police said in a news release Monday. Several shots were fired, they say, hitting the home and a car in the driveway."
"Police believe the shooting was targeted, Duty Insp. Peter Cheung said at a news conference Monday. Police say witnesses saw the driver of a dark-coloured sport utility vehicle fire multiple shots before going southbound on Allison Ann Way. Investigators are seeking surveillance footage from the area. The same house was the target of two other shootings in September, police say. The residence is associated with slain tow truck kingpin Alexander Vinogradsky, who was killed in North York last year."
