General Motors has significantly expanded its Super Cruise hands-free driving assistance system, doubling the number of vehicles equipped to over 500,000 in just one year. The system operates on more than 750,000 compatible highway miles, up from 200,000 since its launch in 2017. Even with the increase in vehicles, only approximately 60% of drivers actively use Super Cruise. The feature is available across GM's lineup, from the Chevrolet Equinox EV to the Cadillac Escalade IQ, and offers a three-year trial period for users.
