Switchyards is opening a second Triangle location in Raleigh
"Switchyards founder and CEO Michael Tavani said the company has 'been on the hunt for a great building in Raleigh.' He noted, 'People want to work outside of the house. And there's a growing need for that 'third place for work' in this city and beyond, somewhere to mix it up and be around others.'"
"The resilience of the hybrid work model after the pandemic has ushered in a renaissance for coworking spaces. They're attractive to workers who don't want to return to the office but also don't want to work in isolation."
The work club has secured a lease for 811 W. Hargett St., a historic building previously occupied by The Factory. The hybrid work model's resilience has led to a resurgence in coworking spaces, appealing to those seeking alternatives to home offices. Switchyards founder Michael Tavani emphasized the need for a 'third place for work' in Raleigh, where individuals can collaborate and socialize. The club will initially accept 250 members, with memberships priced at $129 per month, and the Raleigh location is set to open on May 18.
