Three human service organizations in Massachusetts will lay off a total of 200 employees due to funding losses for care management providers. Community Counseling of Bristol County will cut 52 jobs, Community Healthlink will eliminate 78 positions, and Innovative Care Partners will reduce its workforce by 70. These layoffs are a result of reduced federal funding and the removal of a state mandate for Accountable Care Organizations. The cuts will disrupt care for thousands of clients across the state.
