The Los Angeles Dodgers won an 18-inning World Series game with a Freddie Freeman walk-off home run, giving the Dodgers a 2-1 lead in the series. Shohei Ohtani went 4-for-4 with two home runs, two doubles, three RBIs and five walks, four of which were intentional. Ohtani was on base eight or nine times during the marathon game and showed visible exhaustion afterward. Manager Dave Roberts confirmed Ohtani will still take the mound the following night. Ohtani expressed a desire to sleep as soon as possible to be ready for his start.
