Dodgers Updates: Kike Hernandez Delayed, Blake Treinen Nearing Return & Michael Kopech Encouraged
Briefly

The Los Angeles Dodgers have experienced a wave of injuries among their position players, starting with Max Muncy’s knee injury. Both Tommy Edman and Teoscar Hernández also joined the injured list with foot injuries. Kiké Hernández was placed on the 10-day injured list for elbow inflammation. Blake Treinen is progressing on his rehab assignment and aims for a return by the end of July. In contrast, Kiké Hernández's recovery timeline remains uncertain as he is not engaging in baseball activities, while Michael Kopech has resumed light throwing.
Blake Treinen began a rehab assignment on July 9 and has made four appearances thus far. The most recent of which came Friday night with Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Kiké Hernández did some light throwing on Saturday but otherwise is yet to make much progress. He's not doing any kind of baseball activities.
Roberts initially estimated Hernandez would possibly return shortly after the All-Star break, however that no longer appears to be the case.
Michael Kopech played catch before Saturday's game, which marked his ongoing recovery efforts.
