Man taken to hospital after stabbing on busy South Norwood road

A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in South Norwood. The incident happened in Portland Road near Dundee Road at 7.30pm yesterday (July 16).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man who had been stabbed. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where his condition is currently unknown.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: We were called at 7.30pm on Wednesday 16 July to reports of a stabbing on Portland Road, South Norwood.
We dispatched a trauma team in a car from London's Air Ambulance. We treated a man for a stab wound and took him to a major trauma centre.
