The acclaimed husband-and-wife duo, Tamas Naszai and Tomoko Hasegawa, are transitioning from their beloved ten-seater omakase restaurant Roji to focus on their new venture, the neo-izakaya Himi, located in Carnaby. As a result, Roji is permanently closing, making way for Noren Sake & Sushi Bar. This new establishment will offer an à la carte sushi menu, introducing dishes like maka-zu, which are innovative takes on traditional sushi formats. Initially, Noren will operate on Fridays and Saturdays, with plans to expand its schedule shortly.
