Roki Sasaki reached 100 mph for the first time this season on the eighth pitch of a long at-bat versus Kyle Schwarber and struck him out. After Alec Bohm’s second-inning leadoff home run, Sasaki retired the next 13 batters before Schwarber’s check-swing infield single in the sixth inning. Sasaki’s night ended when Trea Turner’s base hit loaded the bases for Alex Vesia, who walked Bryce Harper, struck out Edmundo Sosa, and retired Bohm to keep a 2-1 Dodgers lead. The Phillies then scored four runs to win 4-3, snapping the Dodgers’ season-best six-game streak and leaving them 6-8 in one-run games.
