Go Pool at the Flamingo Las Vegas is set to reopen after an extensive rebuild. Originally constructed in the mid-'90s, the adult-only pool complex underwent a complete overhaul rather than a simple renovation. The new design includes five swimming areas, with the main pool featuring a wet deck for sunbathing guests. Further enhancements include a luxurious VIP area, a grotto with a circular infinity pool, and a newly positioned DJ booth, all aimed at creating a vibrant and intimate tropical atmosphere for visitors.
"We said, if we're going to put this much into repair and maintenance, let's start this thing over," Dan Walsh, the hotel's general manager, told Travel + Leisure.
"We tried to expand the footprint as far back as we could," he told T+L. A former holding area was converted into a new VIP area (one of three), featuring a 60-foot rectangular pool with a fountain.
After expanding the interior, adding a circular infinity pool and a skylight, the space now feels like you've wandered into a Mexican cenote.
Another dramatic change: the DJ booth, which used to be near the entrance, is now atop the grotto, enhancing the ambiance and party vibe of the space.
