More than 50 people, including children, were taken to hospital, mostly with burn injuries, after the Bangladesh Air Force plane crashed into Milestone School and College in Uttara.

Muhammad Yunus stated that necessary measures would be taken to investigate the cause of the accident and ensure all sorts of assistance for the victims.
Videos of the aftermath showed terrified crowds watching firefighters tackle the flames, as the plane appeared to be lodged in a building where it caused significant destruction.
