Authorities are seeking two thieves who have been executing drive-by robberies using a moped around the Bronx since May. In each instance, suspects rode up to victims on a two-wheeled motorized scooter, grabbing bags or necklaces, then speeding away from the scene.
Some victims sustained minor injuries due to drive-by robbery attempts, with the most recent incident occurring at Crotona Park on July 9.
The suspects forcibly removed a necklace valued at $20 from a 34-year-old woman, fleeing northbound along Crotona Park East.
Detectives have linked the latest robbery to seven others across the Bronx, demonstrating a pattern of moped-riding theft.
