Nearly 1,000 speed camera fines cancelled on one stretch of road over 'human error'

A human error in processing placement led to 914 fixed charge notices issued for speeding on the N25 from May 30 to June 30 being improperly handled. Motorists issued fines or penalty points for speeding on the N25 in Kilkenny between May 30 and June 30 will not have to pay due to a processing error.

The error stemmed from human input mistakes related to the offence location in the processing system, which has since been corrected.
