"A man, aged in his 30s, has died after he was struck by a bus on the motorway in Co Kildare yesterday. The collision, involving a bus and a pedestrian, happened at approximately 3.30pm between junctions 8 and 7 eastbound on the N7 motorway in Kill on Saturday afternoon. A male pedestrian was seriously injured in the incident and was taken to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment."
"He died yesterday evening as a result of the collision. A post-mortem will now take place in due course, a Garda spokesperson said. The male driver of the bus, also aged in his 30s, was not injured, while two passengers received injuries described as non-life-threatening. The N7 motorway between junctions 8 and 7 remained closed overnight, and diversions were in place, while Garda Forensic Collision Investigators were carrying out a technical examination of the scene."
A man in his 30s was struck by a bus on the N7 motorway between junctions 8 and 7 eastbound in Kill at approximately 3.30pm. The male pedestrian was seriously injured and taken to Tallaght University Hospital, where he died the following evening. A post-mortem will take place in due course. The bus driver, also in his 30s, was uninjured; two passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The N7 remained closed overnight with diversions while Garda Forensic Collision Investigators examined the scene. GardaĆ­ are appealing for witnesses and for any dash-cam or other footage to be made available.
