Two Carnival cruise guests drown at new Bahamas resort on same day

Two US nationals, aged 79 and 74, drowned in separate incidents at Celebration Key, a newly opened resort for Carnival Cruise Line. The first incident occurred when a man snorkeling off the beach became unresponsive and later died. Approximately two and a half hours later, a woman was found unconscious while swimming in a pool and was also pronounced dead. Autopsies are pending, and investigations are ongoing. Carnival confirmed the victims were on different ships and emphasized the need for assistance for their families.
