Ten people were taken to hospitals after a mass stabbing on a London-bound Doncaster to King's Cross train near Huntingdon, nine with life-threatening injuries. British Transport Police declared a major incident and said Counter Terrorism Policing are supporting the investigation to establish circumstances and motivation. Two people were arrested at Huntingdon station shortly after armed officers and air ambulances responded following reports at 7:30 p.m. The East of England Ambulance Service mobilized a large-scale response and transported multiple patients. The attack appeared to be contained quickly after the train arrived at the station.
