Veotis Latchison is an Oakland-based vocalist, songwriter, and producer who began making music in high school. His influences span hip hop, funk, and soul, including Biggie Smalls, James Brown, and Donny Hathaway, and those styles appear in his music. The 2023 album Minutiae is his most recent full-length release. He released singles in 2024, including "Didn't Make Pretty" and "Made for You," followed by the haunting, hypnotic double A-side "Spring" b/w "Speak True." He performs live, with a show on Sat, Nov 1 at 8pm at SJZ Break Room in San Jose, $16.
