The NYPD is pursuing an arrest warrant for La'keysha Jackson, a 24-year-old babysitter caught on video abusing two boys, aged 4 and 6, in the Bronx. The incident, occurring on May 6, involved Jackson beating the children with a belt nearly 60 times, according to law enforcement sources. The shocking footage shows her using a belt while being heard taunting the children. As of Tuesday, she remains untraceable, and law enforcement is preparing to use forced entry for her arrest after a grand jury convenes.
"Guess what's about to happen?" she can be heard saying, apparently upset that the two older kids, aged 4 and 6, did not clean up their room.
"Hitting the kids with the [clothes] hangers, hitting them with belts, throwing the baby," recounted their mother, Geraldine Jaramillo, who also claimed that the babysitter doled out emotional and verbal abuse to the children.
