"Police are looking for a man suspected of shooting and killing a Bronx teenager on a busy Brooklyn thoroughfare over the weekend. NYPD officials said 16-year-old Tyson Harps was gunned down around 8:45 p.m. Saturday on Eastern Parkway near Rochester Avenue in Crown Heights, just steps from Lincoln Terrace Park. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene from a gunshot wound to his head, officials said."
"Police said Monday they are searching for a man who ran eastbound on the parkway and was wearing a mask, black jacket, gray hoodie, gray sweatpants and black-and-white sneakers. They are investigating what led to the shooting and have not yet made any arrests. Harps lived in Melrose, more than 10 miles from where he was killed, according to the NYPD."

Police data show he is the 24th teen killed by gun violence in the city this year. The 71st Precinct has recorded four homicides and eight shootings through Oct. 26, roughly level with last year.
