There was never any escaping the Juan Soto of it all in this Subway Series
Briefly

In the Yankees' 6-2 victory over the Mets, Juan Soto was met with a chorus of boos from a minority of fans expressing their frustration over his controversial move to the Mets. The crowd's chants included profanity and jabs at Soto, highlighting the emotions surrounding his record $765 million contract. Despite the hostile reception, Soto maintained a strong performance, walking three times and contributing significantly to his team's efforts, showing that he continues to be a formidable presence on the field regardless of the fan backlash.
The cacophony that comprises the usual Yankee Stadium soundtrack was spiced up some for one very unpopular visitor. "F-k Juan Soto," a few overexuberant Yankees fans chanted for the player who helped deliver the historic franchise's first World Series appearance in 15 years.
Yankee fans who serenaded Soto thusly - and fairly, it was only a small minority - revealed how much his crosstown move to the Mets affected them.
Later in the 6-2 Yankees victory, fans briefly bellowed "Over-rated." More cleverly, they sung, "We want Grisham!" reversing a "We want Soto!" chant from last summer, back when everything was different.
If their intention was to hit back at Soto for bolting for the crosstown Mets for his record $765 million deal, the evidence is in: It didn't work.
