For over two years I've been working on What I Carry: a collaborative photo+writing storytelling project with Portland's Street Community. I've wanted to show What I Carry in the heart of Portland's homeless neighborhood in Portland's Old Town where the majority of the work was done.
When I heard through the grapevine that Lexi was going to close The Lodge, I got really excited about talking to Kris about it. He reached out to Filipello through social media and, even though other parties had been first to express interest, in the end, Cashin and Gordon made a deal with the landlord to continue The Lodge's legacy.
The Fest 2026 will feature performances from The Bouncing Souls and PUP, each playing two sets, alongside a variety of other bands including The Impossibles and Texas is the Reason.

"We designed the property to celebrate the local wildlife as a central part of the guest journey, ensuring the Pacific is always the main attraction."
"It's a really fun, tangible piece," says GN Chan, co-founder of Double Chicken Please, which has won acclaim for its culinary-themed cocktails and design aesthetics. "During and after COVID, every menu became a one-pager or a QR code. It's time to bring something tangible back that you can interact with. It's really satisfying. It was designed to be fun."
"We've all been in the restaurant industry for a long time, in many different ways. We met a couple of years ago, and one night, after they had been out all day surfing, they just proposed that I join them in opening a restaurant."
The first RBS show, back in 2021, was like nothing most of music fans had ever seen, attracting over 2000 people from all over the country.
