Concurrently, Germany, under Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, is making efforts to elevate Ukraine's air defense through a renewed multinational initiative, reflecting a commitment to assist Ukraine in its ongoing conflict with Russia. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy also indicated readiness for direct negotiations with Putin.
President Trump noted that despite a decent conversation with Putin regarding Ukraine, there is still no expectation of immediate peace and emphasized the potential for Russian retaliation.
