Ogury Earns SBTi Validation for Science-Based Emissions Reduction Targets

Ogury announced that the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has approved its emissions reduction goals, which align with the Paris Agreement's objective of limiting global warming to 1.5°C. The company plans to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by reducing absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030 and by 90% by 2050. Additionally, Ogury aims to source 100% renewable electricity by 2030 and ensure that a significant portion of its suppliers have science-based targets by the same year.

Ogury has pledged to reach net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across the value chain by reducing absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030.
The company will increase active annual sourcing of renewable electricity from 0% in 2023 to 100% by 2030, ensuring compliance with SBTi's corporate climate action standards.
Ogury's targets were assessed and approved in accordance with the SBTi's Corporate Net-Zero Standard - a globally recognised framework for corporate climate action.
