A suspect vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run that resulted in the death of an 82-year-old man was found burning in Mississauga. Authorities are searching for a 50-year-old man wanted for second-degree murder. On July 17, Larry Pearce was struck while attempting to stop a man who was trying to steal his vehicle in the parking lot of Charles Daly Park. After the incident, Pearce was taken to the hospital and later died. The stolen vehicle was later discovered on fire in Mississauga with the suspect still at large.
