HashiCorp speaks up about adjusting to life under IBM
Briefly

HashiCorp has officially become an IBM company, and staff appear optimistic about this new chapter, as noted during the recent London HashiDays event. The company is excited to announce the General Availability of several products, including HCP Vault Radar and Boundary. However, the merger brings cultural challenges as HashiCorp operates with a fast-paced release cadence, while IBM generally moves at a slower pace. The differences in corporate culture were discussed by HashiCorp CTO Armon Dadgar, who noted that while Red Hat has a more community-oriented approach, parts of IBM understand open source culture as well.
We're actually quite happy for it, most of us sitting in this room at least.
It's almost hard to describe IBM as one culture.
I think Red Hat gets open source more than IBM does.
Considering it's license change, how much HashiCorp 'gets' open source these days is debatable.
