He expressed intent to kill Trump due to dissatisfaction with the administration's actions regarding the Iran war. DelleChiaie conducted internet searches related to killing Trump and how to sneak a gun into a federal facility. He admitted to these searches during an interview with law enforcement. He faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine for interstate communication of a threat against the president.
