Hebra Arquitectos designed a unique holiday retreat in southern Chile, specifically capturing stunning views of Lake Ranco. The house, commissioned by a couple for their family, features a V-shaped layout with two square-plan volumes rotated 45 degrees. This design maximizes sunlight and lake views while utilizing native oak for cladding, creating a seamless connection with the landscape. The spacious layout segregates public and private areas, including living spaces and a telecommuting office. Tall glass panels and earthy materials enhance the home's airy atmosphere, making it an inviting retreat for family gatherings.
The design captures the essence of the natural landscape, ensuring that both public and private spaces are elegantly connected to the site's serene environment.
By incorporating native materials and forming a V-shaped layout, the building harmonizes with its surroundings while maximizing sunlight and lake views.
