A funeral home secretary describes routine cremation procedures in a facility with a back-room crematory. Bodies were slid into a chamber on a gurney and exposed to fire for three to four hours. During a daytime cremation when only two staffers were present, sudden loud bangs came from the crematorium. Returning to the room, the narrator saw the oven roaring and, through the viewing window, the corpse had flipped completely around. The skull appeared to glow and grin, creating an eerie, unsettling image that left a lasting impression.
