Suzi Ruffell was born in Portsmouth in 1986 and trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in London. She began standup in 2008 and has toured while appearing on Live at the Apollo. She hosts the podcast Out With Suzi Ruffell and co-hosts Like Minded Friends with Tom Allen. She wrote the bestselling memoir Am I Having Fun Now? Anxiety, Applause and Life's Big Questions, Answered. She tours her show The Juggle until September, and the photo was taken in her childhood living room in Portsmouth with heavily patterned curtains and carpets.
