As cities densify and the boundaries between work, learning, and leisure converge, new urban models must prioritize people, climate resilience, and harmony with nature. Oriente Green Campus sits in Lisbon’s eastern business district and embodies that approach by converting an abandoned commercial complex into a contemporary green hub. The design integrates education, office functions, and landscape to create a vibrant, interconnected ecosystem. Project collaborators include Ivo Tavares Studio with architecture input from Kohn Pedersen Fox, construction by MOTAENGIL, project management by Exgexpor Engineering & Consulting, structural engineering by JSJ, and lighting by OHM-E.
