Meezan transformed her kitchen, which featured outdated maple cabinets, into a green space aligning with her vision. The biggest challenge was finding the right green shade; she ultimately chose Sherwin-Williams' Agate Green. The upgrade included changing the door handles to antique gold and incorporating a warm orange, almost terracotta color called Windswept Canyon. The kitchen island's unique shape was initially a concern, but it became a beloved breakfast table after being painted the same green as the cabinets. The entire kitchen renovation was completed in about a week.
Meezan always dreamed of a green kitchen, and when she moved into her home, the kitchen had maple cabinets and hadn't been updated in 20 years.
Finding the right shade of green ended up being the trickiest part of the process. Meezan ultimately found Sherwin-Williams' Agate Green, which ended up being perfect.
While Meezan worked with professionals to paint the cabinets, she upgraded the door handles herself to an antique gold option, which makes all the difference.
The kitchen island's shape was another unique part of the kitchen; initially, Meezan wasn't sure how she felt about it but later appreciated its breakfast table function.
