The Granite State Poll, conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center earlier this month, asked likely Democratic primary voters about a list of potential candidates, including Buttigieg, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), California Gov. Gavin Newsom, former Vice President Kamala Harris, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker. 19% of respondents said that they would support Buttigieg in the 2028 primary. Newsom and Ocasio-Cortez came in second and third place with 15% and 14%, respectively.

Gavin Newsom New Yahoo/YouGov poll shows California governor leading 2028 Democratic presidential nomination race, with 21%, followed by Kamala Harris at 19%; Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez at 12% and Pete Buttigieg 10%.
