A total of eight Los Angeles Dodgers prospects were named to the Glendale Desert Dogs roster for the 2025 Arizona Fall League, which is an increase from six last year. Additionally, Triple-A Oklahoma City bench coach Chris Gutierrez is part of the Desert Dogs coaching staff. Josue De Paula and Kendall George are the most notable Dodgers prospects participating in the AFL, and they're accompanied by Logan Wagner, Justin Chambers, Jakob Wright, Hyun-Seok Jang, Alex Makarewich and Payton Martin.
Schultz's season began with a solid performance in Double-A, posting a 3.34 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 56.2 innings, but fell sharply after moving to Triple-A, where he allowed 15 earned runs in just 11.1 innings across three starts.
