But, at present, they are fifth (W3, D2, L1) -- five points adrift of leaders Chelsea -- and have already dropped seven points in their six games, one more than unbeaten Chelsea did throughout the entirety of last season.

Tottenham are looking to improve their attacking unit with the signing of Samu Aghehowa from Porto. The 21-year-old has been in fine form for this season, scoring 11 goals in all competitions. Tottenham are keen on securing his signature, and they are now accelerating their efforts to get the deal done. The player has a 88 million release clause in his contract, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to pay up.
Arsenal decided not to enter the market last January despite having a major injury crisis, and then ended up making plenty of changes during the summer. The Gunners remain in a good place financially, so there could be a decent budget there for Arteta to work with, though it's too early to know for sure if the club will be actively pursuing anyone just yet.
Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in signing the highly talented French midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi. The 18-year-old is highly rated across Europe, and he has a bright future. He has already established himself as an important player for LOSC Lille, and he has the technical attributes for Premier League football as well. According to TBR Football, several clubs are interested in securing his signature, along with Arsenal and Liverpool.
